THE official inauguration of the new President of the Ladies Probus Club took place at the Dungannon Golf Club.
The President of the Rotary Club of Dungannon, Jackie Campbell, officiated at the ceremony where Ivy Williams accepted the role of President for the incoming year. The outgoing President Angela McCrystal was congratulated for the varied programme over the last year and she in turn wished Ivy every success in her new role.
President Jackie congratulated Ivy and the club which is now going into its sixth year. Jackie commented on the strong foundations on which the club was formed, thanking the founder members for their input and all the past presidents who have brought the Club from strength to strength.
This is a unique year for Probus in Dungannon. Ivy has assumed the Presidency of the Ladies Club and Norman Williams her husband has just recently been appointed the President of the Male Probus Club. Their long happy marriage shows their ability to work well together and both the clubs will benefit from having Norman and Ivy at the helm.
