St Patrick’s, Aughadarragh is top school in NI.

ST PATRICK'S Primary School, Aughadarragh, has been recognised for its first-class achievement in the 2017 Renaissance Awards.

The school was ranked as the top performing primary school in Northern Ireland.

The awards honour the best performing schools from across the country in terms of their implementation of best practices for reading, and student growth in reading attainment - as measured by Renaissance Star Reading and Renaissance Accelerated Reader (AR).

Principal, Mrs Gemma Quinn has expressed her pride in the pupils, staff and parents on this fantastic achievement.

She said: "We are a rural school with an enrolment of 80 pupils and to be ranked as the top performing school in NI is an outstanding achievement."
