Sums of money taken in Two Cookstown burglaries. thumbnailThe Dock and Barbers of bt80 in Burn Road, Cookstown, which was broken into on Friday last.

POLICE are appealing for information following the report of two burglaries in the Burn Road area of Cookstown that occurred sometime over night.

At approximately 8.30am on Friday morning last, Police received a report that a burglary had occurred at commercial premises.

The shop was ransacked.

Whilst at the scene police were informed that the commercial premises above this shop had also been entered.

It is believed that a sum of money was stolen from both premises.

Sergeant Young would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about these incidents to contact Police at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 208 09/02/18.
