Captaincy Ďan honourí for Kyle thumbnail

MOYGASHEL'S Kyle McKinstry has spoke of his pride after being named as the captain of Northern Ireland's darts team.
Kyle, is who ranked as the top darts player in Northern Ireland and will lead his side into this summers Six Nations Championship in June and the European Cup later this summer in Hungary.
Speaking to the Courier, Kyle revealed his shock at the news.
“I was rung last week, and offered the role," he said. "It was something I had always wanted to do and it is amazing to think that I will be captaining my country in a competition.
“I am over the moon. I couldn't have reached this stage without help from my dad - he introduced me to darts, my partner Danielle and to my team at the Ballymore Inn, Tandragee."
Reflecting on his sides chances in both competitions this year, Kyle is optimistic.
“We are a good team and if we play as I know we can I'd be hopeful that we will get medals in both competitions."
