Coagh United face Loughgall as Irish Cup game awaits
Wednesday, 3 February 2010
COAGH build up to their Irish Cup game away to Crusaders starts on Saturday with a difficult home tie against League leaders Loughgall.
Loughgall come to Hagan Park on a roll, having only lost two League matches this season and are through to the quarter final stage of the Intermediate Cup. Coagh have been playing well but not good enough to get results, and came away from Ards last Tuesday night with nothing after controlling the first half of the match. While Loughgall will be looking for all the points to stay on top, Coagh will be after some points to help secure their Division one status for next season.
Both teams will be looking to get a good work out before next Saturday Irish Cup games. Coagh travel to the new Crusaders 4G pitch for a 3pm start while Loughgall are still waiting for the outcome of the Newry, Larne affair and could go through without kicking a ball. Saturday's match kicks off at 2pm.
Dallas
Coagh's up and coming midfielder Stuart Dallas was selected for the Northern Ireland squad to take part in the preparation build up match for the IFA quadrangular tournament against Ballymoney United last night, Tuesday.
