New sponsor for Bush Road Races

Team Hardship are running a Tribute Night in memory of the late Adrian McFarland
THE 2012 H2 Engineering Bush Road Races will start with practice sessions taking place on Friday 22nd June and racing will take place on Saturday 23rd June.
The organisers are delighted to welcome on board a new sponsor for 2012 H2 Engineering Bush Road Races, Grenier Packaging, who will be sponsoring the Open Race. Grenier Packaging is based at Killyman Industrial Estate, close to the Bush Circuit in Dungannon.
The Club will once again be holding a Classic Bike Show, on Saturday 24th March 2012 and anyone wishing to display a bike or collection can contact the Club Secretary on 07742080941 or at candymorrison@msn.com . Further details relating to the show will be released closer to the date.
New members are always welcomed and the first meeting of 2012 will be held on Tuesday 10th January in Ballynakelly Working Men's Club at 8pm. Mmembership forms are available from the Club website http://www.bushroadraces.com .
North Monaghan Trials
The North Monaghan Trials will take place slightly later than usual, the date being February 12, at a new venue, Todds Leap.
This will be the Sixth Round of the Ulster Championship and is scheduled to start at 11am.
Although the course may be designed for Ulster Championship status, the course will also be set out to encourage beginners and those who have little trials experience, so get all of those trials bikes out and get the dust off them.

Tribute Night
Team Hardship Racing presents a tribute night in memory of Adrian McFarland in the Crown Plaza Hotel, Dundalk, Co. Louth on Saturday 3rd of March 2012.
Adrian, or Adi as he was known, tragically lost his life in a racing accident whilst competing at the Terlicko Road Races in the Czech Republic on the 27th of August, 2011.
The format for the night will be a Chat Show, with top road racing stars, an auction of racing memorabilia, along with other items, a raffle with top class prozes, followed by music with top DJ Kevin Clarke. Admission if 10 euro.
Sad passing
Former Classic racer Phillip Riddall sadly passed away last week. Phillip, better known for his exploits on the big Weslake, was a past winner at many local road races. Philip had been ill for several months.
His funeral last week saw many of his former arch rivals and friends attending. Condolences to the family circle.

Sunflower 2012
The Hillsborough MCC have taken a new date for this year's Sunflower Meeting. Instead of the usual end of season date, they have taken 3rd/4th August.
