KILLYMOON Rangers Football Club held their 40th reunion buffet in the Balmoral Suite, in the Royal Hotel, on Saturday night.
John Rooney acted as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. A congratulatory letter from Coagh United was read out, before the first guest was introduced, Chairman David Brown.
David spoke of his time at the Club, as a player, Manager and then Chairman and how the Club has progressed from entering the 4th Division of the Mid -Ulster League in 1971, to the present day in Championship 2.
David was followed by founding member Willie Jordan, who spoke of the early years of the Club.
The MC John Rooney then introduced Trevor Wilson, who entertained the audience with his memories of his career at the Club, both as player and manager.
After a break for a scrumptious buffet, and a chat with old team mates, Maxie Mc Ilwee and Stafford Thompson, from Cookstown Youth, congratulated the Club.
Next to speak was the Killymoon comedian, face book Phil, ( other wise known as Phil Gray, 2nd team Manager ) who entertained everyone with his Chubby Brown routine.
Captain Stephen Mc Elhatton spoke on behalf of the present day team.
Chairman David Brown brought a highly successful evening to a close with a toast to Killymoon Rangers.
