ULSTER Rugby and Subway have partnered this summer to bring the 2017 Summer Camp programme across Northern Ireland.
Sponsoring 24 training camps across 22 venues in Northern Ireland, including Dungannon, the camps will provide a fun-filled programme of rugby training and games for children of all ages and abilities.
This year's camps will see young players benefitting from expert advice and tuition given from Ulster Rugby players and IRFU qualified rugby coaches, who will be attending the camps to share their experiences as professional rugby players.
The sponsorship between Subway and Ulster Rugby will see the companies team up from 3rd July until 18th August, to deliver the camps, which are available for boys and girls aged 6-16 years.
Scot Heyes, Subway NI's Marketing Chairman said:
“Our partnership with the Ulster Rugby Summer Camp Programme is a perfect match for us. We are delighted to be supporting promising, young rugby enthusiasts who could one day lead to become rugby stars.
“Together with Ulster Rugby, we're looking forward to cultivating the team enthusiasm, and growing community participation and engagement at all levels in a fun and sporty way."
Chris Webster, Ulster Rugby's Domestic Rugby Manager said;
“We are really excited to welcome Subway to the team, as our new sponsor for the annual Summer Camp Programme.
"The summer camps have been increasingly popular, and we are delighted that we have been able to expand and increase the number of places and locations for this programme, with the help of Subway.
“We have a shared ambition to develop the rugby youth leagues in Northern Ireland, and provide a healthy and social lifestyle for kids over the summer period."
