FOR the second week in a row Dungannon Swift's Chris Hegarty was amongst the goals with his effort this week securing a point at Seaview.

Dungannon Swifts...1

Jordan Owens has given the Crusaders the lead with his fourth goal of the season, a close range header. But it lasted just two minutes as Chris Hegarty met McElroy's corner to find the net.

Neither goalkeeper was really troubled in a cagey first half but the Crues had the brighter of the chances. With Jordan Owens sending an early effort wide after being teed up by Billy-Joe Burns.

Owens was also denied from close range by the feet of the onrushing Addis. The striker had yet another opportunity thanks to a sloppy game of head tennis from the Swifts back-line saw the ball fall to his feet. However, he failed to capitalise sending his half volley well over the bar.

Glackin did have the ball in the back of the net against his former club, but it was ruled out thanks to an earlier infringement on the Addis.

The second half started brighter for the Swifts with McElroy making a quick, incisive break, however his scuffed shot beat Jensen but was cleared by Rodney Brown

Crusaders grabbed the first goal of the game in the 70th minute as a hopeful ball forward caught out the Swifts' back-line with Stuart Addis struggling to clear or collect the ball.

Owens but the 'keeper under pressure and as the ball bobbled up he was on hand to head home.

However, the lead lasted barely two minutes as Dungannon Swifts hit back in style.

From McElroy's low inswinging corner, Chris Hegarty made a smart move to the front post and flicked the ball into the far corner of the net.

The Crusaders were not settling for a point and attempted to hit back, again through Jordan Owens. However his 25-yard effort flew wide of the post, though Addis wasn't sure and got down well to cover his lines.

A draw was a fair result after a game in which neither side really mustered any sort of attacking threat.
