THE Legion men dominated this match with three goals in the first half and five more in the second.
Johnny Ferguson opened the scoring in the seventh minute smashing the ball into the net from 12 yards out.
David Lee scored the second in the twelfth minute driving past the Chimney corner defender and unleashing an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner of the net.
Johnny Taylor scored the third on twenty minutes rounding the 'keeper and finishing neatly into the bottom corner of the net for a three nil lead at half time.
The second half half started in the same fashion as the first, Johnny Ferguson scored his second of the match in the forty-seventh minute.
David Lee got his second of the match on fifty minutes a solo run followed by a great strike into the top corner of the net.
RBL vice-captain Lee Hunter added the Legion mens sixth with twenty minutes to go blasting the ball from 25 yards out into the top corner of the net.
Johnny Taylor got his second of the match on eighty minutes a shot from 12-yards out rolling under the Chimney Corner 'keeper and into the net.
The scoring was wrapped up in the final minute a corner kick floated into the box was headed into his own net by the Chimney Corner defender to give the Legion men a resounding 8-0 victory and an even more important three points.
RBL Man Of The Match was Stevie Purvis, award sponsored by committee member James Symes.

Cookstown RBL Reserves have a friendly against Desertmartin Swifts this Saturday, 17th March at Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt with a 2pm kick off.
Cookstown RBL Development Centre continues this Friday 16th March at Cookstown High School blue astro turf pitch from 6-30pm to 7-45pm.
Everyone involved with Cookstown RBL Football Club would like to thank the community for their support last Saturday at the club's big breakfast which was a great success with very positive feed-back from all who were able to attend.
