THE Irish Indoor Bowling Association's National Finals took place on Saturday in Banbridge.

Mid-Ulster were represented in the final of the rinks, where they met the Morrisons from 1st Ahoghill.

The rink of Colum McKee, Keith McCulloch, Liam McHugh and Brigid Davidson from Cookstown Parochial got off to a flying start with a five on the first end and, although the Morrisons came back strongly, the Cookstown rink played exceptionally well to gain a 14-6 win.

Mid-Ulster will now represent Ireland in the British Isles Championships in Wales in November.
