Get set for Newell Stores 10k thumbnailSean Boyle (assistant manager) of Newell Stores Coalisland and last year’s winner Conan McCaughey Enniskillen), organiser Cahal O'Hagan and Veronica Morris at the launch of this year’s races on 29 June.

NEWELL Stores are excited to launch the second year of the Newell Stores 10K and 5K Race, walk and children's mile in association with Keep Er Lit Running Club. We are delighted to announce that proceeds will be donated to Marie Curie and Charis Cancer Care.

The race will be taking place on Friday 29th June in Coalisland starting at the Cornmill in the town centre. There will be a staggered start with the 10K Race kicking off at 7.30pm and the 5k Race at 7.50pm.

Register via or call into Newell Stores in Dungannon or Coalisland to collect a registration form. A pre-registration day will take place on Saturday 23rd June in Coalisland Parochial Centre.

Registration on race day is at the Parochial Centre from 5pm. Designated parking, bib and t-shirt collection will all take place here.

The course record for 2017 was 31.30, beat this record and earn a £200 reward prize. Not forgetting to mention the total prize money has doubled this year and is a whopping £2000 with chip timing included for all entries.

For competitive runners this course is fast, flat and perfect for getting those PB's. T-shirts and goodie bags are provided for the first 1000 participants and medals for all 10K participants. Refreshments, music and entertainment will all be provided on the day.

This year we are having a free children's mile before the races start, bring all the family to get involved and enjoy a great evening.
